Posted

PROVIDENCE—The Barrington High School Basketball team lost to North Providence, 55-51, in the Division II Championship at Alumni Hall on the Providence College campus on Sunday morning. The two teams went into halftime tied for the lead. The Eagles, who lost the lead in the second half, tied the score with minutes to go in the game. North Providence kept the pressure on the Eagles by driving the lane and getting to the foul-line, while the Eagles outside shooting went cold down the stretch. Read more about the game in this week's issue of the Barrington Times.
