Parking ban in Warren; decision not yet made on schools

Posted

The Town of Warren has declared an on-street parking ban starting at noon Friday, as what could be a record-breaking storm bears down on the region. The ban will stay in place until further notice.

In other news, officials in the Bristol Warren Regional School District hadn't decided as of Thursday morning whether they were canceling school for the day Friday. Snowfall is expected to begin in the morning; a clerk in the superintendent's office said a decision will be made by Thursday afternoon.
