The Parenting Support Group will meet on Sunday April 27 at 6:00 PM in the Tildsley Building at St. Michael's Church, 399 Hope Street.  This group is an opportunity for parents of preschool and school age children to discuss with other parents and a mental health professional those everyday challenges they encounter in raising children today.  In the past the group has discussed preparing for birth, teaching children self-reliance, separation issues and special needs, as well as other concerns parents bring.  All parents are welcome, single and partnered, traditional and non-traditional, and parents in blended families. All discussion is treated as confidential. There is no charge for the group but participants are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food or personal hygiene products for the Bristol Good Neighbors pantry.  Childcare is available but parents planning to bring children must call Jennifer DeWolf at 935-3359 by Friday, April 25 to let her know how many children will be attending and their ages.  Please note, this group usually meets on the third Sunday of the month but has been moved because of the Easter holiday.
