The Parenting Support group will meet on Sunday, February 16 at 6:00 PM in the Tildsley Building of St. Michael's Church 399 Hope Street, Bristol.  This group is an opportunity for parents of preschool and school age children to discuss and sort out the everyday challenges they encounter in raising children today.  Past topics  have included building self-esteem, oppositional behavior, talking with children so they will listen, special needs and any other concerns parents bring to the discussion.  The group is facilitated by a mental health professional and all material is treated as confidential.  All parents are welcome, single and partnered, traditional and non-traditional and parents in blended family situations.  There is no charge for the group but participants are encouraged to bring a donation of a non-perishable food or personal care item for the Bristol Good Neighbors Food Pantry.  Childcare is available but parents planning to bring children must call Jennifer DeWolf at 935-3359 by Friday February 14 to let her know how many children will be attending and their ages.
