Palmira Conceicao Messier, 103 of Bristol

Palmira Conceicao Messier, 103 of Silver Creek Manor passed away on December 21st.  She was the wife of the late Hiram Messier. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Duarte) Ellis.

Palmira attended Bristol schools and was a seamstress for US Rubber in Bristol and Connecticut, and also Greco Brothers of Lawrence, Mass. for many years.  She was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Elizabeth Church.

She is survived by her daughter Eva McGonagle of Bristol and her son David (Jacquie) daSilva of Tucson Ariz.; grandchildren Cynthia Ann Heywood, Carolyn (Kevin) Kelleher, Barbara (Jim) Bradley, Donna (Bob) Douglas, Tanja Snelling; great grandchildren Joseph, James, Michael, Bryan, Sherri, Riley, Matthew, James, Stephen, Heather, Melinda, Caroline, Colton; great great grandchildren Mikaylaa, Tyler, Samantha  and sisters Frances Waggoner, Elsie Ferreira of Warren and Louise Perry of Bristol. She was the sister of the late Mary Silvia, Phoebe Vargas, Manuel Vargas, Emily Cabral and grandson Robert Wright. Funeral services will be private at Palmira’s request. www.limafh.com
