Paint Pouring with Nadine Aerts

Come have fun and learn this new technique for pouring paint on canvas to create bold designs which can stand alone as a work of art or work as a dynamic background for a painting. T challenge is learning to control paint that wants to do its own thing. We will learn the applications and uses for pouring paint.

Instructor: Nadine is a self- taught artist who has resumed art making after a 20 year career as a body builder in her native Belgium. She is eager to introduce students to the fun and useful skill of paint pouring.

Time: 2-4:30PM

Tuition: $25/$20 members ($5 materials fee payable to instructor)

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
