Olivia (Silvia) Belmore, age 74, of Bristol

Mrs. Olivia (Silvia) Belmore, age 74, of Sousa Street, Bristol, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.  She was the wife of Roger P. Belmore, her husband of 53 years.

Born in Newport, raised and a resident of Bristol for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Olivia (Sousa) Silvia. Olivia was a physical therapist assistant at Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home for many years.  She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality at the church.  She also was a member of the Bristol Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the matriarch of the "Sousa Street Clambake."

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michelle Cabana and her husband Stephen, Arthur Belmore and his wife Lisa, Roger A. Belmore and his wife Michelle, Deborah Nerone and her husband Kevin all of Bristol and Cindy Andrade of Southwick, Mass., grandchildren, Timothy, Jared Gardiner, Stephen, Eric Cabana, Kristin, Jonathan Belmore, Kayla, Kevin Nerone, Georgiana, Gabriella Andrade, Chelsea, Devyn, Alexandria Amaral. She leaves three sisters, Mary Lou Anderson, Patricia Silvia and Annette Silvia all of Bristol. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Silvia.

Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, are Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol.  Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in  her memory may be made to Bristol Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, P.O.
