Students at Barrington Middle School no longer have access to Youtube.

As of Thursday, Nov. 1, the district eliminated access to all students at the middle school — "This shift in practice will greatly reduce students’ abilities to search inappropriate videos (non school related content)," stated the school's newsletter.

Barrington Middle School teachers are being asked to create an Edpuzzle account instead. Edpuzzle allows teachers to post content/curriculum specific-Youtube videos to the platform, and students will be able to access only those videos by accessing their teachers' Edpuzzle accounts.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
