Networking and Trip Preview Party Hosted by East Providence Area Chamber


Postponed from March 3 to Monday, March 10 due to winter storm...

The East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours networking event will also include a Preview Party on Monday, March 10. The party will feature a short presentation about the Chamber-sponsored 13-day trip to Portugal and Its Islands, November 7-19, 2014. The trip and party are open to the public.

The party and networking event will be held at Riviera Restaurant, 580 North Broadway, East Providence, RI from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  Admission is free and open to businesspeople and anyone interested in learning more about the Portugal trip. Complimentary hors d'oeurves will be served with a cash bar. Contact the Chamber office to RSVP by 3/6/14 or call 401.438.1212

The Portugal and Its Island trip is a fundraising program for the Chamber. Captain Cruise and Cruise in East Providence is the booking agent.Trip includes round trip air from Logan International Airport, air traxes & Fees/Surcharges, Hotel transfers, 18 meals. Book early and save $250 per person.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
