Neighborhood Watch, East Providence Police set next meeting date


EAST PROVIDENCE — The Red Bridge Neighborhood Association and the East Providence City Police Department invite you to a Neighborhood Watch meeting. Get the latest information about crime in our neighborhood, meet our Community Police Officer, and learn about crime prevention.

The meeting takes place Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Trinity Tabernacle Church, Basement meeting room,745 North Broadway.

The Red Bridge Neighborhood Association, East Providence Community Police and Ward 2 City Councilman Helda Cunha host the event.

The Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program which enlists the active participation of residents in cooperation with local police to prevent and reduce crime in East Providence neighborhoods.

Neighborhood Watch is residents not only knowing each other, but taking the time to care about each other and work together in a program of mutual assistance.

Neighborhood Watch is about crime prevention education and the implementation of important home and personal security strategies.
