Natalie Swift pledge drive continues through April

Posted

Help continues to pour in for Natalie Swift and her family as they deal with her diagnosis of ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Through the end of the month, Doug Mayhew of Ocean Point Insurance in Warren will donate $5 to the Natalie Swift Foundation (click here) for every person who "likes" his company on Facebook. The pledge drive started Thursday and by Monday had already generated 520 likes, or $2,600, for the foundation. Mr. Mayhew's drive isn't the first; earlier this month, the most successful fund-raiser to date raised nearly $7,000 for the Swifts. That fund-raiser, a bake sale organized by Natalie's son Tommy, was held at Savon Shoes.
