Mt. Hope hockey team wins in Portsmouth

The Huskies won their second game of the season 6-3 on Sunday night, Jan. 13, beating South Kingstown 6-3 in Portsmouth. The Huskies opened the scoring at 5:15 in the first period and never looked back. Senior Justin Correia had a hat trick, senior Trevor Sousa scored two and senior Zach Minior added another. Zach Minior and Ross Hogan had two assists each and Sean Killeavy, Justin Correia, Nick Anania and Jacob Calouro had one apiece.

The Huskies' next contest is against Portsmouth on Monday, Jan. 21 at the Portsmouth Abbey rink. The game starts at 11:30 a.m.
