Molleur re-elected moderator of Portsmouth water board

PORTSMOUTH — Only 75 ballots were cast in the Portsmouth Water and Fire District's annual election held Wednesday, June 12.

When the votes were tallied, incumbent Ronald L. Molleur was re-elected as moderator for a three-year term, garnering 72 votes. A write-in, identified only as J. Richard, received one vote.

Joseph A. Magliocco received 66 votes to be elected treasure for a three-year term on the board.

Both men will be sworn in at the board's meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.

The 75 ballots that were cast represented only 0.6 percent of the 12,482 eligible voters.
