New York Times bestselling author William Landay will be the featured author at the next Writer's Series with Dawn Tripp at Partners Village Store in Westport.

The Writer's Series is a dynamic, open and interactive discussion with a series of noted authors about the writing process, the work of creating a story, and publishing. Books are available for signing at the conclusion of the talks.

William Landay's latest novel is "Defending Jacob". His previous novels are "Mission Flats", which won the Dagger Award as best debut crime novel of 2003, and "The Strangler", which was an L.A. Times favorite crime novel and was nominated for the Strand Magazine Critics Award as best crime novel of 2007. According to author Phillip Margolin, “'Defending Jacob' is a stunning novel that will be compared to classic courtroom thrillers like 'Presumed Innocent' and 'Anatomy of a Murder'.”
