Mary C. (Ramos) Cordeiro, 85, of Hope Street passed away on November 24th.  She was the wife of the late Manuel “Shorty” Cordeiro. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Augusto and Angelina (Furtado) Ramos.

She is survived by her children Joyce Silva, Daniel Cordeiro and Michael Cordeiro; grandchildren Anthony Cordeiro, Kevin Cordeiro, Daniel Cordeiro, Jenna Cordeiro, Timothy Cordeiro, Shannen Cordeiro and Matthew Cordeiro; great grandchildren Rebecca, Kristen, Jeremy, Allyssa, Jacob, Aislin, Gavin and Alya.  She was the mother of the late Daniel Cordeiro and the sister of the late Joseph Ramos, Augustine Ramos DDS, Anne Taylor, John Ramos and Daniel Ramos.

Funeral services were held November 29th from the George Lima Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Luke Willenberg at St. Mary’s Church.  Liturgical readings were by Daniel Cordeiro and Kevin Cordeiro and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by Tony Cordeiro.  The offertory gifts were presented by Jenna Cordeiro, Matthew Cordeiro and Tim Cordeiro.  Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery. www.limafh.com
