Martha Millie Coelho Peters, 70, of Bristol

Martha Millie Coelho Peters, age 70, of Bristol, Rhode Island, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, N.C.

Ms. Peters was born in Bristol, R.I., on June 20, 1948, to John and Mae Pacheco Coelho. She was formerly employed in the textile industry.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. Martha had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends. She was very active in Front Line Ministries with her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Switzer and husband Thomas of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jesse (Elizabeth) Switzer, Kaslyn Switzer, and Cody (Darian) Kennedy, all of Asheboro, and Brian Kennedy, Shelby (Jaimie) Switzer, and Dusty (Amber) Switzer, all of Louisiana; great-granddaughters, Vivian and Bowen; sisters, Donna (Kenny) Fernandes of Massachusetts and June Votaw of Nevada; brothers, Kenny Coelho of Rhode Island and Jimmy Coelho of Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Ave., in Asheboro, with Rev. Joey Miller officiating.
