Marguerite I. Knight, 98, Little Compton

Marguerite I. Knight, 98, of Long Highway, Little Compton, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Morgan Knight.

Born in LaJuanata, Col., she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Marie (Holtze) Kocmuth.

Besides Little Compton, she loved her home in Holiday, Fla.

Mrs. Knight was a registered nurse for many years doing private duty. Marguerite graduated from the Maryland Tuberculosis Sanatorium Training School for Nurses in Frederick, Md., on May 29, 1941.

She leaves several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mary Louise Jackson and Amelia Capitanio.

Her funeral was held on Friday, Aug. 30, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church on the Commons. Burial was in Our Lady of Farima Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Fern Acres Funeral Home, Little Compton.
