TIVERTON — A 57 year old Fall River man remains in Rhode Island Hospital Tuesday following a serious head-on motorcycle accident in Tiverton last Friday night at the intersection of Shove Street and State Avenue, at the state line.

Tiverton Police Captain Patrick Jones said Matthias Daigle, of Fall River, was proceeding northbound on Shove Street, operating a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle at 8:59 p.m., when Nancy Braddock, 36, also of Fall River, and proceeding southbound in a car, attempted to make a left hand turn onto State Avenue.

The two vehicles collided and Mr. Daigle became wedged under Ms. Braddock's vehicle.

Captain Jones said Mr. Daigle was transported to St. Anne's Hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries was taken by med-flight to Rhode island Hospital, where he remains. Ms. Braddock was not injured, Captain Jones said.
