Man in distress after fall from Church Street Dock

Posted

A man reportedly fell off the Church Street dock in Bristol, and appeared to be in distress after passers-by pulled the man from the water, according to witnesses at the scene.

Rescue personnel have responded and administrated CPR before rushing the man away, they said. There is no official word on the man's condition.

The man fell into the water and appeared to get stuck under the dock, witnesses said. A number of people came running from all directions, jumping in the water  and working to eventually drag the man to land, where they were met by Bristol Fire and Rescue.
