Local firm offers computer internships

A South Coast technology company is seeking high school and college students with an aptitude for computer science to participate in an internship opportunity.

iMedia Solutions of Dartmouth is offering computer technology internships that will immerse participants in state-of-the-art modern software engineering.

"These internships and participation in public service software projects provide young students the opportunity to work side-by-side with successful modern application engineers, learning the power of modern software engineering methodologies and its application in today’s businesses."

Students accepted for this internship will be trained by iMedia’s professional senior software engineers in application practices, design and development. They will also be working directly with the firm's engineers to create civil service applications for managing daily activities, centralizing critical data, and supporting local emergency responders. There is no charge for the internships.

Interested students should submit their résumés to education@myimedia.com. "We look forward to hearing from you, and together we will put southern New England on the technology ecosystem map, right next to Silicon Valley," the company said in a press release.
