Little Compton Public School




Little Compton Public Schools is seeking qualified electrical contractors to submit pro- posals for temporary electric service necessary to allow for the setup of temporary classrooms that will be used during the renovation of Wilbur McMahon School.

The scope of work will include but not limited to the following:

• Transformer pad and bollards • Primary service from transformer to two (2) buildings • Below grade conduit from utility pole to onsite manhole and buildings • Electric from septic tank to building

Bid documents, including General Notes, Drawings, Bid Form and Agreement for Construction Services will be available at the mandatory pre- bid conference, on Monday September 17, 2012 at 9:00 am at the Little Compton Town Hall, with a site visit to follow.

Completed proposals will be due at the Town Hall on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 3:30 pm. A public opening will be convened at that time in Town Council chambers.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
