Little Compton Police: Flying drill hits windshield

The Little Compton Police Department responded to the following calls last week:

Tuesday, July 22

At 12:31 p.m. a car attempting to park at South Shore Beach hit the rear bumper of another vehicle, causing minor damage.

Wednesday, July 23

A car heading south on West Main Road near Taylor's Lane was struck at 3:30 p.m. by a drill, that caused damage to the windshield. The driver of the car was uninjured. It is unclear where the drill had come from.

At 5:41 p.m., an Apple iPhone was stolen from a parked vehicle while at Walker’s Fruit Stand.

Saturday, July 26

At 2:21 p.m., a car parked at the Thursday Thrift Shop a 5 South of Commons Road received minor damage to the rear bumper on the right side.
