Lillian B. Manchester, 91, Little Compton

Lillian B. Manchester, 93, of Little Compton, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, April 6, 2013.  She was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Lillian B. (Wimer) Manchester
Mrs. Manchester was born in Little Compton and was a lifelong resident of the town. Prior to her retirement she worked as a telephone operator for New England Bell.
Survivors include her sister, Georgie A. Bodington of Little Compton, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gertrude Gustason, Beatrice Sisson and Ruth Childs.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, April 13, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton, at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, Westport.
