Letter: Students need lessons on dangers of vaping

Posted

To the editor:

As a member of the Barrington High School class of 2020, I want to let you know that I feel that the youth need more teachings in school and at town-wide presentations about the dangers as well as talking about what is inside a vape and the harmful affects of the vape on the body.

The effects of vaping greatly impact the person who is vaping. I think we need to go more in-depth why vaping is bad for one's growth and development. I feel we should teach the youth about vaping. If this important presentation could be state-funded for the schools of Rhode Island this would be helpful to the youth.

Sincerely,

Ben Conway
