Letter: Recollections sought for oral history project

To the editor:

The Herreshoff Marine Museum, in collaboration with students from Roger Williams University through its Community Partnerships Center, is starting an oral history project to gather and preserve information about the history of the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company and the men and women who worked there. We hope to contact anyone who worked at HMCo. (of whom there are a few remaining), or who had parents, grandparents, or other relatives or friends who worked there. If you have stories of the company, or pictures or memorabilia that you can tell us about, please contact us.  You can call or email Larry Lavers (401-253-5000, l.lavers@herreshoff.org) or Sandy Lee (617-794-2315, s.lee@herreshoff.org).
