What?Never been to a first-class wine-tasting? Now is your time! On this festive, fundraising evening, come join wines-of-Italy enthusiast, and Italy writer/traveler, Alan A. Amaral as he introduces the best of Italian wines to our local audience, complete with a full Italian Buffet!

Alan, our host, is Italian speaking...and a well-traveled Italian American who is the founder of  Italian Wine Services). Alan has led many tours to Italy and its vineyards. Join us on this unusual occasion as he warms up to his tour of Sorrento and Rome, Italy (an event that will occur later this year to which you are invited) and introduces the best of Italian white and red wines from regions of southern Italy.

This event will be catered by the well-known, distinctive Riccardi’s Italian Restaurant of New Bedford, where recipes are prepared “the authentic way, the Italian and the Sicilian way, like Mama Giovanna cooked...and like her Mama Nunziatta cooked for her.” Along with your delicious Italian wines, come prepared to enjoy a full Italian dinner buffet.

The Marine Museum is dedicated to the preservation and stewardship of maritime history, and to presenting to the public art and artifacts that chronicle maritime life along the south coast and beyond over the past two centuries.

Tickets: $65.00 contribution. $20 is tax-deductible.

The Marine Museum requests your support. There is no better way to transport yourself to southern Italy than from our front door! Take advantage of this unusual wine-tasting opportunity, today! Order tickets on-line, right from the Marine Museum website.
