Katherine Branco, 92, Westport


Katherine (Walker) Branco, 92, of Westport died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at Fall River Jewish Home.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Katherine M. (MacFarlane) Walker.

Mrs. Branco was a loyal supporter of Forever Paws in Fall River and was a longtime member of TOPS, RI Chapter, and the Westport Council on Aging.

Survivors include four sons, James S. Branco of New Hampshire, David P. Branco of Dartmouth, Kenneth F. Branco of Westport and Michael P. Branco of Orlando, Florida; a daughter, Beverly A. Andrade of Fall River; grandchildren, Jason, Katherine, Christopher, Rebecca, Jennifer, Ashley, Adam, Kevin, James, Kimberly and Melissa; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her beloved friend Gail Furtado.

She was the sister of the late James Walker.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
