Karen Marie Fenster, 47, Portsmouth


Karen Marie (DeLucca) Fenster, 47, of Cedar Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.   

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Peggy DeLucca and the late James DeLucca.   She was the mother of Zachary Fenster and Andrew Fenster; sister of Deborah Giannini and James De Lucca Jr.; loving companion of David Zygiel; and former wife of Gary Fenster.

Karen was a graduate of Bristol High School and was the bonding and assembly manager at Mack Plastics for 27 years.

Her funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 23 from the George Lima Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated by Rev. Richard Narciso in St. Elizabeth Church in Bristol. Liturgical readings were by Charmaine Briggs and Cynthia Principe. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Victoria DaPonte, and the offertory gifts were presented by Gianna Giannini, Thomas Giannini and James DeLucca Jr. The eulogy was given by Kevin Costa. Serving as pallbearers were James DeLucca Jr., Mike Hicks, Dave August, Ed Mack, Tom Mack, Will Kane, Jeff Popham and Tom Kneath.
