Joseph W. Drzal, 85, Warren


Joseph W. Drzal, 85, of  Warren, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Frances (Mikulski) Drzal.

A World War II Army Veteran, he was a chief television technician for RCA. Mr. Drzal was a life member of the Polish American War Veterans of Fall River, where he was a past post commander. He was an avid Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots fan, and a golfer for 26 years at the Touisset Country Club.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Michael P. and Susan Drzal and Patricia and Paul Cochrane; a sister, Eleanor L’Hereux; his grandchildren, Matthew Cochrane, Melissa Zechello, Katherine Drzal and Christopher Drzal; and his beloved great-granddaughter, Brooke Zechello.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Funeral services are at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, from the funeral home, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Alexander Church.
