Join Mystic Aquarium for “Toddler Tuesday” Events this March

Posted

Mystic Aquarium is hosting its “Toddler Tuesdays” series in March. On Tuesday, March 19th, families enjoy a “Cuddle Clinic;” where children can bring their favorite stuffed animal in for a “check-up” by Mystic Aquarium’s veterinary staff! These animal care professionals will also share tips on how to protect and care for other animals, too.

On Tuesday, March 26th Heather Bring, a volunteer first responder and advocate for Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program, will read to children from some of her favorite story books. She will be joined by her service-dog Marea, a beautiful golden retriever-lab mix, who is also the Animal Rescue Program’s resident service dog. Heather will also share their adventures serving as ambassadors for the oceans and environment, overcoming the obstacles of living with an invisible illness and sharing tips on how anybody can become involved in environmental conservation. In addition, the Mystic Aquarium Rescue Team will be on hand to share lessons about the local ecosystem and what it takes to rescue marine animals along the Northeastern coastline.

He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
