Joffrey Ballet to present "The Rite of Spring" at PPAC

Discover The Joffrey Ballet, hailed as “America’s Ballet Company of Firsts.” The Joffrey’s long list of “firsts” includes: first dance company to perform at the White House at Jacqueline Kennedy’s invitation, first to appear on television, first American company to visit Russia, first classical dance company to go multi-media, first to commission a rock ‘n roll ballet, and the only dance company to appear on the cover of Time Magazine. This company of forty-six dancers, trained to the highest level of classical perfection, celebrates the 100th anniversary of Nijinsky/Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, paired with thrilling contemporary works by two of the best choreographic minds of the 21st century.
