On Thursday, May 24th at 7 p.m., the Bristol Historical and Preservation Society is hosting an illustrated presentation of the extraordinary historic textiles in the Society's collections. Maria Vazquez, textile conservator, will discuss highlights of the collection discovered while an intern at the Society. A Master Seamstress, Vazquez holds a Masters of Science in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design from the University of RI. At the Bristol Statehouse at 240 High Street.
