Harvest Fair time at Coggeshall Farm in Bristol


Visit with farm animals and hand-milk a cow; purchase heirloom plants; attend demonstrations of Colonial craftsmen skills; listen to traditional acoustic music by Trua; watch Morris dancing by the Ladies of the Rolling Pin; see the work of Rhode Island artisans and enjoy local foods at  Coggeshall Farm's 40th annual Harvest Fair. Activities and traditional games for all ages include hay rides, face painting, Jacob's Ladder, craft-making, a hay bale toss, sack races, watermelon seed-spitting contest, and even a Muck Boot fashion show.

WHERE: Coggeshall Farm Road (off Poppasquash Road), Bristol.

WHEN: Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15

COST: $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and children ages 3-12. Admission discounted for members.
