Germaine E. Gallison, 98, leaves family in Bristol, Portsmouth

The funeral for Germaine E. Gallison, who was 98 years old, and who passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, was held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, with a Mass of Christian at St. Philip’s Church, Greenville.

She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Gallison, and is survived by her son, Raymond E. Gallison Sr. of North Providence; daughters, Marie Desnoyers and Claire Labadie of Greenville;  and grandchildren, Representative Raymond E. Gallison Jr., of Bristol, Deborah Gallison-Smith of Lincoln, and Kenneth Gallison of Portsmouth.

Bearers were Kenneth Gallison, Timothy Gallison, Nathan Gallison, Stephen Smith, David Desnoyers and Paul Desnoyers. Readings were by Raymond E. Gallison Jr. and Alyssa Smith. Katherine and Kieran Gallison gave the Prayer of the Faithful. Interment was in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
