Four East Bay beaches closed due to bacteria

The Rhode Island Department of Health has ordered four East Bay beaches closed after monitoring showed high levels of bacteria at each. High bacteria counts are normally found after periods of heavy rain. Check back with the Department of Health at 222-2517 for updates.

Beaches closed Friday include:

Warren Town Beach

Bristol Town Beach

Grinnell's Beach in Tiverton

Fogland Beach in Tiverton.
