Florence (Guida) Balzo, 92

Florence (Guida) Balzo, 92, a native of Bristol, and most recently Highland, Calif., passed away Wednesday September 26th. She was the wife of the late Antonio “Tony” Balzo.

Born in Bristol, she was the youngest of four children born to Antonio and Maria Guida. She was the sister of the late Louis Guida, Leonardo Guida and Pasquale Guida.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, loved to dance, travel and dine out with family and friends.

She leaves behind her children, Barbara Ann Coute and her husband John of Highland, Calif. and Anthony “Rusty” Balzo and his wife Ann Marie of Brookfield, Wis. four grandchildren, Nicole Howes and her husband Scott of Highland, Calif., Melissa Bennington and her husband Jay of Camp Lejune, NC, Michael Balzo of Chicago, Ill. and Lisa Maria Balzo of North Hollywood, Calif., three great grand children, Delanie Howes, Jackson Bennington and Demi Bennington.

Memorial services to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to R.I. Veterans Home in Bristol.
