Family obligations conflicted with Bristol ceremony

Posted

Dear Editor:

I was very disappointed reading the letter by Owen Trainor in last week's Phoenix.

My husband and I are very diligent attending as many ceremonies as we possibly can. We also support many community events.

There was "no" communication of the VA ceremony to any of the town officials.

Occasionally we have family obligations that arise or may conflict with other events. Unfortunately, we had a family obligation that conflicted with the VJ Day Ceremony on Saturday.
