Ernest B. Waite, 94, of Westport, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. He was the husband of the late Emelda R. (Beaulieu) Waite.

Born in Westport, son of the late Norman A. and Rachel F. (Gifford) Waite, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. He was the owner/operator of Arrowhead Farm and Waite’s Garage. Mr. Waite was an avid story teller and was a member of the former Horseman’s Association of Dartmouth.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice DeVillers of Westport and Sharon Andrade of Westport; four grandchildren, Gregg and Joel Andrade, Julie Manley and Ernest deVillers; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Edward A. Waite, Gertrude Taylor and Agnes Wiseman.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
