EPACC: Pet of the Week: Boo Boo

Boo Boo is a wonderful grey and white male Pitbull bulldog mix available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Boo Boo came to our facility in need of a lot of TLC. He is approximately one and a half years old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and is being medicated to help a skin condition he developed from living in poor, unsanitary conditions. We have since bathed him, and he is on the road to recovery. He is as gentle as they come, and loves attention. This little guy is looking for a good place he can call home.

If you are interested in Boo Boo, please feel free to stop by the facility any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We are located at 62 Commercial Way, East Providence. We also have plenty of other animals in need of good homes. You may see the other pets we have available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
