EPACC Pet of the Week: Benny

Posted

EAST PROVIDENCE — Benny is a gorgeous grey and white male domestic short hair available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Benny is very gentle and tends to be a bit shy at first. Benny came to the facility on August 11th, and is ready to find a home that will give him love and attention. Benny was already neutered prior to coming to animal control so we had him vaccinated. This also means his adoption fee is a bit lower then most. Benny is very friendly with everyone.

Benny is a wonderful kitty, so if you are interested in adoption, please feel free to stop by the facility any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We are located at 62 Commercial Way, East Providence, RI. We also have plenty of other animals in need of good homes. You may see the other pets we have available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
