EPACC Pet of the Week: Benny

EAST PROVIDENCE — Benny is a grey male domestic short hair available for adoption. Benny came to our facility after a police officer observed him lying on the ground and was concerned he had possibly been struck by a motor vehicle.

Benny was examined by a veterinarian which informed staff that he was suffering from a severe inner ear infection. This has given Benny some inner-ear and balance troubles, and for a while he was unable to properly stand and walk. Though Benny has been treated and cleared of infection he still has a bit of a tilt. He's progressively getting better and he is capable of standing and walking when he wants to.

Benny is a special case and is in need of someone to help him through his tough time and give him the love he deserves... even if he does look at you at a bit of an angle. He was neutered prior to coming to the facility and would only require his vaccinations to be updated.

If you are interested in Benny, please contact us at (401) 435- 7675. You may visit our facility located at 62 Commercial Way, any day of the week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We also list the other animals available for adoption on Facebook and Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.
