Elia J. Giusti (Lee), 79, of Ft. Lauderale, Fla., died June 12, 2013, in a tragic accident. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Anne Marie (Berube); three children, Lee-Anne Giusti of Boston, Paul Giusti of Ft. Lauderdale and  Elaina Lucas of Barrington; and four grandchildren. Born in Bristol, he was the son of Elia and Concetta (Santulli) Giusti and brother of the late Carola Russo and Dr. Salvatore Giusti.

He was a retired Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army and had homes in Florida and Rhode Island. He graduated from the New England School of Anatomy and the University of Rhode Island. Thereafter he embarked on a career as a real estate entrepreneur. He was an avid golfer who lived in joy and brought laughter to everyone he knew.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Ave, Riverside. The funeral procession will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, at Smith-Mason Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St, Bristol. Burial with military honors will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol, R.I.
