East Providence: Request for qualifications bid - EP11/12–26 East Providence Firestation #4 Renovations

Qualification statements are hereby solicited by the City of East Providence from professional contractors for the proposed renovations at existing Fire Station #4 located at 66 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, Rhode Island 02914.

A mandatory walk thru will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM.

Statements should be forwarded to the City Manager, Room 102, City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914 by 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 11, 2012.

The complete RFQ requirements may be obtained at the Purchasing Division Office, Room 206, City Hall, East Providence, RI, Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm or downloaded from the City website at www.eastprovidenceri.net under Bid Information.

The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies, to waive any informality in the qualification statement, and to pre-qualify any company based on what the City deems to be in its best interest.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far.
