EAST PROVIDENCE — East Providence Police are investigating two robbery cases that happened at the same Warren Avenue address some six months apart.

According to Detective Mark Bourget, a burglary/felony assault occurred at the residence on October 20, 2013. The suspect is described as a white male 5-feet-10 to 6’ tall with dark straight hair and appeared to be in his late teens to early 20s.

The suspect rode a red and purple Specialized Hard Rock mountain bike to the scene. The bike was left in front of the house and the suspect fled on foot. Below is a picture of the bicycle that was left at the scene.

Most recently on April 18, the victim in the aforementioned case had another incident where someone went into the residence and vandalized property. It is unknown at this time if these cases are connected.

If anyone recognizes the bicycle or has any information in either of these cases please contact the East Providence Police at 435-7600 x20023.
