East Providence hosts Black History night


EAST PROVIDENCE — The City of East Providence's Office of Affirmative Action hosts an evening of discovery Wednesday night, Feb. 13, in City Hall as it celebrates Black History Month with a family-friendly event.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. Performances include East Providence's Children's Choir, poets and various artwork and memorabilia will be on display. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend.
