East Providence Animal Control Pet of the Week: Taluz

EAST PROVIDENCE — Taluz is a male tuxedo domestic long hair available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Taluz has been with animal control since March. He was abandoned in East Providence along with two other felines, which was covered in local news.

He is approximately one year old and has been neutered and vaccinated. If you are looking for an affectionate and playful companion then Taluz is the one. He is very curious and attentive to the environment around him. We believe he would adjust well in a home that currently has felines in it.

If you are interested in Taluz adoption please feel free to stop by the facility any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We are located at 62 Commercial Way, East Providence. You may see the pets we have available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
