East Providence Animal Control Pet of the Week: Red

Posted

EAST PROVIDENCE — Red is a beautiful orange and white domestic medium hair available for adoption at the East Providence Animal Control Center. Red was found roaming about the parking lot of the East Providence Police Station.

While Red was being neutered and vaccinated, the veterinarian noted he had previously sustained a leg fracture that healed crooked, but is stable. He is a little shy at first but is a very affectionate kitty. He loves one on one attention. He is a little underweight so staff is providing him with wet food to give him the extra calories and help him gain some weight. If you are looking for a loving companion, Red is the perfect kitty for you.

You may visit Red at our facility located at 62 Commercial Way. East Providence Animal Control Center is open every day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We also have other animals available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com.

If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.
