East Providence Animal Control Pet of the Week: Len

EAST PROVIDENCE — Len is a male white and black domestic long hair available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Len was found as a stray in East Providence in need of some TLC.

Staff treated him for fleas and ticks, and he has since been neutered and vaccinated. He is now a healthy, playful kitty. We are unsure of Len’s age, but he is a young adult that loves plenty of attention.

Len might work well in home with other felines since he likes to play with his buddy “Taluz”, another feline available for adoption but would not do well in home with dogs. If you are interested in Len or any of our other animals available for adoption please feel free to stop by the facility any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The EPACC is located at 62 Commercial Way, East Providence. You may see the pets we have available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
