East Providence Animal Control Pet of the Week: Kitty

Posted

EAST PROVIDENCE — Kitty is a grey tiger stripe male available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. He is very affectionate and craves attention. He loves to be held even though he is a very large cat. We believe Kitty is part Maine Coon considering many distinctive characteristics he has, such as his large feet, body size, and enormous fluffy tail.

Kitty is approximately 3 years old, and was rescued by animal control officers when they received word he was stuck in the wall of a local building that was being renovated. He is neutered, but does need his vaccinations to be updated.

If you are interested in this gentle giant, please feel free to visit Kitty any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We are located at 62 Commercial Way, East Providence, RI. We also have plenty of other animals in need of good homes as well.

You may see the pets we have available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.
