East Providence Animal Control Pet of the Week: Charlie

Posted

EAST PROVIDENCE — Charlie is a grey male tiger stripe domestic shorthair available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. He is very friendly with everyone and seeks attention from staff.

Charlie was neutered prior to coming to animal control so he will only need his vaccinations updated. Charlie has been very pleasant towards the other felines and seems to have a wonderful demeanor.

If you are interested in Charlie or any of our other animals available for adoption please feel free to stop by the facility any day of the week between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. We are located at 62 Commercial Way, East Providence.

You may see the pets we have available for adoption listed on Facebook or Petfinder.com. If you have any questions about adoption or need to speak with an Animal Control Officer regarding other issues, you may contact the staff at (401) 435-7675.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
